I gathered a range of handwriting samples by asking 20 people to write out a set of letters for me. this helped me collect different styles and natural variations in handwriting. after collecting the samples, I selected some of the most interesting ones and traced them digitally so I could clean them up and make the letters more more consistent. I also adjusted and leveled them slightly so they would work better as design elements. these handwriting specimens gave me inspiration for the style and personality of my brand.
